PROPOSAL OF EDITORIAL
The REGION DRESDEN was founded in 2003 as an informal management network. Currently 17 towns and villages belong to her. The city of Dresden with approximately 545.000 inhabitants, the municipality of Dürrröhrsdorf-Dittersbach, with approximately 4.200 inhabitants is the largest Member of the smallest. Altogether, approximately 752.000 inhabitants in an area of more than 1000 km² in the region live.
