Corona vaccination
For vaccinations, there is an order for the population - there is no compulsory vaccination. For this purpose, so-called prioritisation groups were formed. First, the over-80s were vaccinated as a priority, as well as staff in outpatient care services and particularly affected risk areas. Depending on the speed, the other groups will be given their turn. Up-to-date information about one's priority group is available on the Internet or by telephone. Vaccination appointments can also be booked by telephone or via a service portal on the Internet.
Currently, three vaccines are licensed in Germany: Biontech/Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca. However, there is no freedom of choice in the vaccine.
Since information on the subject of vaccination can change at short notice, it is advisable to regularly check the relevant websites. This includes for example:
Availability of vaccination dates
Which priority group is currently being vaccinated
New approval of additional vaccines
Expansion and number of vaccination centres
