Dresden's historic city centre is world-famous for its other architectural masterpieces such as the Residenzschloss and the Zwinger.
Every year many music and film festivals take place in Dresden, which, in addition to the art collections and galleries of this city, rounds off the picture of music, art and architecture. Dresden boasts more than 40 museums, about 35 theatres and stages as well as many galleries. Starting with the green vault, the Staatsspielhaus, numerous festival halls and the Staatsoperette, there is something for every taste and reflects the culture of this city, it is lively and pulsating.
